Suspected drunk driver hurt in collision on 7th St in Abilene

ABILENE, TX – A suspected drunk driver was injured in a collision on 7th Street in Abilene last week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at 3262 S 7th Street, near Willis Street, at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday, after the 66-year-old driver of a gray 2020 Toyota had been drinking.

The front of his vehicle then crashed into the front-left end of a black 2021 Infiniti being driven by a 68-year-old woman.

The suspected drunk driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The other driver was not hurt.
