AMARILLO, TX – A 19-year-old woman died in a car accident involving a semi-truck on the 100 block of Hwy 60 on Tuesday.
According to the Amarillo Globe-News, the victim has been identified as Karina Nichole Ayala. Around 5:40 a.m. on Oct. 12, first responders found Ayala dead at the scene.
Police believe a semi-truck was turning left and struck Ayala’s Chevrolet Malibu. The Canyon Police Department is still investigating.
