Four killed in wrong-way accident in Amarillo

AMARILLO, TX – Four people were killed and two others were injured in a wrong-way collision in Amarillo on Wednesday evening, local news reports. 

The accident occurred on Loop 335 near Broadway around 7:30 p.m.

A truck was traveling the wrong way down the road when it crashed head-on into a sedan. The sedan was carrying five people at the time of the crash.

Four people were killed in the collision. Two others have been hospitalized.

Police believe intoxication may have been a factor.
