Motorcyclist killed in Amarillo wreck

AMARILLO, TX – A man was killed in Amarillo after a motorcycle accident on Christmas Eve, according to News Channel 10. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of SW 58th Avenue and Western Street shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

The victim was travelling south on Western Street when he was struck by a Nissan Altima attempting to turn onto SW 58th Avenue from the northbound lanes of Western Street.

The motorcyclist was rushed to a local hospital, where he passed away the following day. The Altima’s driver remained uninjured.

Police are investigating the incident.
