1 dead, 2 injured after multi-vehicle collision on McNeil Drive

AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed and another two were sent to the hospital after multiple vehicles collided on McNeil Drive last night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred on McNeil Dr and San Felipe Boulevard at 9:22 p.m. and may have involved at least two vehicles colliding head-on.

Despite resuscitative efforts, an adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other adult victims were taken to Round Rock Medical Center to receive treatment for non-critical wounds.

Drivers were told to expect delays and closures near the scene and to be aware of investigators in the area.
