1 dead, 2 injured following pin-in crash on RM 2222 Rd

AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed and another two were injured in a pin-in collision on RM 2222 Road yesterday morning, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 5800 block of RM 2222 Road at 7:45 a.m., when three vehicles collided, causing at least one person to be pinned within the wreckage.

An adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

After being extricated from the wreckage, one adult patient was taken to Dell Seton to receive treatment for possibly severe injuries.

A third person was taken to the same hospital with minor, non-life-threatening wounds.
