AUSTIN, TX – Two people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a pole then caught fire on Parmer Lane on Sunday evening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened between 3900-4750 E Parmer Lane at 6:05 p.m., when a single vehicle crashed and overturned, then collided with a pole. The vehicle then burst into flames.
One person was declared a trauma alert, then taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.
A second victim was initially thought to be deceased. The victim, however, was then also declared a trauma alert and taken to St. David’s Round Rock for the treatment of severe, possibly life-threatening injuries.
