AUSTIN, TX – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-35 in north Austin earlier this month.
According to KXAN, the incident occurred on February 16th at about 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Breaker Lane.
Investigators say 21-year-old Ruth Quintero-Wences lost control of her vehicle when she struck another car, causing it to roll down an embankment.
Quintero-Wences was rushed to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later. It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the wreck.
