3-year-old boy fatally struck by driver in parking lot in SW Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A 3-year-old child was fatally struck by a driver near a shopping center on William Cannon Drive this weekend, according to KXAN.

The collision occurred in southwest Austin, in a parking lot located at the 4400 block of W William Cannon Drive on Saturday night.

A driver struck a 3-year-old boy, who is not being identified in this article due to his age.

The child was taken to Dell Children’s, where a short time later, he succumbed to his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating with the investigation.

The crash remains under investigation.
