AUSTIN, TX – Three people, including an Austin Police officer, were sent to the hospital following an accident allegedly related to drunk driving early Monday morning, according to KXAN.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Trinity Street and 15th Street at about 1:15 a.m., when at least two vehicles collided.
An Austin Police officer was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Two occupants of the civilian vehicle were also hospitalized. The driver of that car is facing a charge of DWI in connection with the crash.
