Narrative
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — One person died Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle crash that left two others seriously injured in northeast Austin.
The fatal wreck occurred at the corner of Cameron Road and the eastbound East Anderson Lane service road, in the Coronado Hills neighborhood. It was first reported at about 7:40 a.m.
Authorities have not released a sequence of events leading up to the crash, but Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed one adult was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another patient suffered major, possibly life-threatening injuries and was declared a trauma alert. A third person sustained potentially serious injuries. Both surviving patients were rushed to Dell-Seton Medical.
Motorists were urged to avoid the scene as first responders worked the area.
