TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — One person died Monday morning following a single-vehicle crash near northeast Austin’s Bluestein Shopping Center.
The accident was reported on the northbound service road of Ed Bluestein Boulevard, just south of Manor Road. Austin-Travis County EMS said crews were dispatched to the scene at about 10:08 a.m.
Very few details have been released, but authorities said the vehicle collided with a fixed object in the area. KXAN reported the incident as a “fiery crash.”
The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene, confirmed ATCEMS. It was unclear whether the decedent was the driver or a passenger.
