AUSTIN, TX – A single-vehicle crash in southwest Austin left two people seriously injured on Thursday evening.

Emergency responders from Austin-Travis County EMS were called to the scene at 11015 West State Highway 71, just north of Southwest Parkway, at about 8:15 p.m.

One occupant was pinned inside the vehicle as a result of the crash. First responders extricated the victim and transported them to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center in serious condition. A second occupant was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
