Narrative
A teenage pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries Friday night after being hit by a vehicle in south Austin. The incident occurred at the corner of West William Cannon Drive and West Gate Boulevard on December 9, at about 7:11 p.m. Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene shortly after. It was unclear what led up to the crash, but first responders arrived to find the teen suffering from serious injuries. The patient was transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center where their condition remains undisclosed. Authorities have not said whether or not the driver stayed at the scene. No arrests, pending charges, or citations have been reported.
