AUSTIN, TX – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle near a University of Texas construction zone downtown on Tuesday morning, according to KXAN.
The accident happened at 6:21 a.m. on the southbound I-35 service road and E Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed the exit for Manor Road and the I-35 on-ramp as they investigated the crash.
