Man injured after being rear-ended in collision in W Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A driver was injured during a two-vehicle crash in the Fox Run Ridge neighborhood in west Austin on Thursday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The collision happened at W Slaughter Lane and RM 1826 Road at 1:14 p.m., when the front-right end of a white 2012 Toyota, driven by a 19-year-old woman, collided with the rear of a tan 2009 Toyota.

The driver of the 2009 Toyota, a 34-year-old man, sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The teen driver was not reported injured.
