AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle near the Old Tarlton Center in west Austin last week, according to KXAN and the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened west of Rollingwood and near the intersection of Bee Caves Road and Walsh Tarlton Lane at 5:02 a.m. Friday, when a pedestrian was struck by a driver.
Medics were able to resuscitate the victim and get a pulse back before taken them to St. David’s South for the treatment of critical, life-threatening wounds. By that afternoon, the victim had succumbed to their injuries.
The driver was not reported as hurt.
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
