AUSTIN, TX – One person was severely injured after being hit by a vehicle in a hotel parking lot off of I-35 early this morning, according to CBS Austin.

The crash happened at 2:40 a.m. in the 5500 block of the southbound N I-35 service road, in the parking lot of a Super 8 hotel, when a pedestrian was struck by a driver.

The victim, described only as an adult, was declared a trauma alert and then was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of severe injuries.
