Pedestrian in crit. condition after early-morning hit-and-run in N Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was left in critical condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Rundberg Lane early this morning, according to CBS Austin.

The crash happened in the 300 block of E Rundberg Ln, near N Creek Drive at 3:16 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a driver who then fled the scene.

The victim was discovered lying in the roadway by authorities. The person, who was not immediately identified, was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of critical, life-threatening wounds.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash and to search for the suspect and their vehicle.
