Pedestrian killed after being struck by car near S Austin parking garage

AUSTIN, TX – A woman died on Friday after being struck by a vehicle in a parking garage on Wednesday, according to CBS Austin.

The crash happened in the area of 4604 S Lamar Boulevard at about 6 p.m. when 62-year-old Susan Soheili was struck by the driver of a white Toyota RAV4, who was making a left out of a parking garage.

The driver, who remained at the scene, reportedly did not know that she had hit anyone at first.

Soheili was taken to the hospital with grave injuries, and she died there of her wounds on Friday.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
