Pedestrian severely injured after being hit by car on N Lamar Blvd

AUSTIN, TX – A man was taken to the hospital with severe injuries after being hit by a car on Lamar Boulevard last week, according to CBS Austin.

The crash occurred in the 10500 block of N Lamar Blvd at 11:31 p.m. Thursday, when a man crossed the street. He was then hit by a passing driver.

The victim was taken to Dell Seton to receive treatment for severe, possibly life-threatening wounds.

The driver, who is not suspected of having been under the influence, remained at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
