AUSTIN, TX – One person suffered severe injuries in a pedestrian crash on 12th Street on Saturday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred on 12th Street and Navasota Street at 4:19 p.m., when a driver crashed into a pedestrian.
The victim was reportedly unconscious after the crash and was declared a trauma alert. EMS transported the victim to Dell Seton for the treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash and the identity of the victim were not immediately available.
