Person hospitalized after car crashes into tree on Avery Ranch Blvd

AUSTIN, TX – One person was hospitalized after their vehicle collided with a tree on Avery Ranch Boulevard early Sunday morning, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.


The crash happened in the 13100 block of Avery Ranch Blvd near Highway 183 at 2:28 a.m., when a driver collided with a tree, causing them to be pinned within the vehicle.

The victim was declared a trauma alert, then finally extricated from the vehicle after about 30 minutes. They were taken to St. David’s Round Rock to receive treatment for possibly severe injuries.

No other people were hurt in the collision.

The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
