AUSTIN, TX – One person died as a result of a motorcycle crash this afternoon on Debba Drive, near the Lakeway area, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened at 1:59 p.m. in the 15100 block of Debba Drive, between Susan Drive and Barney Drive and about a half-mile east of FM 620 Road, after a motorcycle and another vehicle collided.
Authorities declared one victim a trauma alert and began performing CPR on them. STARFlight medical helicopters were also called to the scene to prepare to transport the victim to the hospital.
Despite the efforts of medical crews, however, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene before 2:45 p.m.
Drivers in the area were told to expect extended road closures and to be aware of first responders and investigators as they worked the scene.
