LEANDER, TX – One person was seriously injured after a car crashed into a retaining wall on FM 2769 Road in Leander early yesterday morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred near 12950 FM 2796 Road at 2:18 a.m., when a driver crashed into a retaining wall and then overturned. One person was entrapped within the wreckage as a result.
The victim was declared a trauma alert, extricated, and was then taken to St. David’s Round Rock for the treatment of possibly severe injuries.
