AUSTIN, TX – One person was severely injured in a pin-in crash involving a semi-truck on Pearce Lane this morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 11000 block of Pearce Lane, near FM 973 Road at 6:42 a.m., when a semi-truck and a pickup truck collided. One person was pinned within their vehicle and declared a trauma alert as a result.
The victim was extricated from their vehicle, then taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center for the treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.
