AUSTIN, TX – A north Austin eatery was forced to close Thursday after a vehicle crashed through it’s front wall.

The incident happened at Pho Van, which is located just off of Highway 183 at 8557 Research Boulevard.

Police aren’t sure yet what caused the car to crash into the restaurant, but they say it does not appear to have been intentional.

No injuries have been reported, but the crash did cause extensive property damage. Officials say the restaurant is boarded up following the accident. It’s unclear if and when the eatery will re-open.

The investigation is ongoing.
