Narrative
AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported one person to the hospital on a trauma alert after a crash involving a scooter and a passenger vehicle in North Austin.
The collision occurred at 7:51 p.m. near the intersection of Rutland Drive and Stonebridge Drive, which is northeast of TX-183 and east of El Palacio Event Center.
Police haven’t yet determined what caused the two vehicles to collide, but they have disclosed that one person sustained critical injuries. That person went to Dell Seton Medical Center.
Officials cautioned drivers of delays in the area of the crash while crews worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
