AUSTIN, TX – Police are investigating a solo crash that killed one person and injured another in southeast Austin on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred just prior to 1 p.m. on the northbound side of TX-130 near Maha Loop Road. This is just north of Mustang Ridge and east of Creedmore.
Police haven’t released any details regarding the circumstances of the crash except to say that one person died at the scene and another went to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Drivers likely experienced substantial delays along TX-130 northbound in the area of the crash while crews worked to clear the scene.
