Narrative
A 20-year-old woman died Wednesday night after a two-vehicle crash that left a teenage girl seriously injured in Manor. The fatal collision occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 290 and Farm to Market Road 973 at about 10:21 p.m. According to local police, the 2o-year-old driver was traveling southbound on FM 973 when she tried to beat a red light. Moments later, her vehicle collided with another vehicle heading westbound on US-290. The 20-year-old woman was pronounced deceased on the scene, confirmed officials. The driver of the second vehicle, a 17-year-old girl, suffered serious injuries. She was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center where her condition remains undisclosed.
