Narrative

TRAVIS CO., TX – DPS Troopers are looking into a hit-and-run crash that claimed the lives of an Austin man and his daughter last Friday night.

Investigators say the crash occurred at about 10:24 p.m. when a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado “failed to give one half of the roadway” on Delta Post Drive near Chamberlain Court and collided head-on with a Kawasaki Brute Force 300 Utility ATV. The Chevrolet then continued down the road without stopping.

Both occupants of the ATV, a 26-year-old man and his 3-year-old daughter, were pronounced dead at the scene.

At the time of this writing, it s unclear whether any arrests have been made in connection to the deadly crash.
