Two people hurt during pin-in collision on FM 973 in Manor

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were injured during a pin-in collision on FM 973 Road in Manor yesterday morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred between 6800-7815 N FM 973 Road at 7:16 a.m., when two vehicles collided, causing one person to be pinned within the wreckage.

By 7:36 a.m., the victim had been extricated and was declared a trauma alert. They were taken to Dell Seton with severe injuries.

A second victim was taken to the same hospital for the treatment of non-critical wounds.

Authorities originally called a STAR Flight medical helicopter, but decided instead to transport the victims via ground ambulance.
