4 people injured in wet-weather rollover crash in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, TX – Wet road conditions contributed to a single-vehicle crash in the Beaumont area yesterday which led to the injury of four people.

According to KBMT, the accident happened near milepost 837 on I-10 at about 2:30 p.m. when the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet, Beaumont woman Keyera Bell, 27, lost control of the vehicle.

The Chevrolet collided with a concrete barrier, then rolled over multiple times before landing off the side of the highway.

Bell was airlifted to the hospital with serious wounds.

Her three passengers, aged 9 to 25, were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance for the treatment of undisclosed injuries. Their identities have not yet been made public.

According to Texas State Troopers, wet road conditions led Bell to lose control of the vehicle. They continue to investigate the crash and are looking into any other possible contributing factors at this time.
