Beaumont woman trying to cross tracks fatally struck by train

BEAUMONT, TX – A 39-year-old woman attempting to walk across train tracks was hit and killed by a train this afternoon in north Beaumont, according to 12 News Now.

The accident happened near the train tracks located at N 7th St and Dollinger Rd at about 12:10 p.m. when the 39-year-old victim, Beaumont woman Tina Marie Celestine, was trying to cross over the tracks.

The victim died at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the collision.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the collision at this time.
