ORANGE, TX – A rear-end accident in Orange last week between a sedan and a pickup truck caused one man to be taken to the hospital, according to KOGT Radio.

The crash happened at the intersection of FM 1130, aka Meeks Dr, and Martin Luther King Jr. Dr at about 1 p.m. on Thursday. 38-year-old Port Neches woman Donna Arnold, operating a 2009 Cadillac CTS, was reportedly driving southbound on 1130 at a high rate of speed when she collided with the back of a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that had stopped at a stop sign.

A passenger in the Cadillac, a 53-year-old man from Brazoria, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Arnold and the driver of the Silverado, a 49-year-old man also from Brazoria, were not reported as injured.

Arnold was cited for a failure to control the speed of her vehicle.

She reportedly had been involved in another accident earlier that day, in which her Cadillac had collided with a fence before landing in a ditch. No injuries were reported in that collision.
