TEXLA, TX (ORANGE COUNTY) – A Louisiana man was severely hurt in a rear-end collision with a semi-truck in Orange County this morning, according to the Orange Leader.
The accident happened at the intersection of Crosstimbers Dr and FM-2802 at about 7:15 a.m. when the driver of a semi-truck slowed down to yield to traffic before making a left turn. The truck was then rear-ended by 29-year-old Louisiana man Cade Weldon, who was operating a Dodge pickup.
Weldon was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe wounds.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
