Multiple people hurt in US-69 crash possibly involving up to 6 vehicles

PORT ARTHUR, TX – Multiple people were injured in a collision on US-69 last night that possibly involved around six vehicles, according to The Port Arthur News.

The accident happened in the 10000 block of US-69, near the Nederland Avenue exit, just before 8:15 p.m. when multiple vehicles collided. Authorities did not release the exact circumstances of the crash or the number of vehicles involved.

Multiple people were taken to the hospital, one of them with serious, though not expected to be life-threatening injuries, and several others with minor wounds.

The identities of the victims have not been made available.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
