BEAUMONT, TX – A 40-year-old pedestrian was killed early Christmas Eve in Beaumont when he was struck by a vehicle on I-10, according to 12 News Now.
The accident occurred in the 200 block of I-10 at about 2 a.m., as 40-year-old Vidor man Scotty W. Dorn, was walking on the roadway.
He was struck by the driver of a 2013 Hyundai, and then died at the scene.
The driver, who is reportedly cooperating with the investigation, was not hurt.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
