BEAUMONT, TX – A woman is dead after her vehicle crashed into a tree and then burst into flames in a crash in The Avenues area in Beaumont on Wednesday evening, according to 12 News Now.
The crash occurred at 7:05 p.m. in the 4700 block of Avenue A, when the driver of a red Dodge Journey, 32-year-old Beaumont resident Tyesha Johnson, went off the side of the road and into a tree. The vehicle then burst into flames.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
