20-year-old injured in multi-vehicle crash on SH-6 in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, TX – One person was injured in a speed-related crash involving multiple vehicles on State Highway 6 on Thursday night, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The collision happened on SH-6, near Harvey Road (State Highway 30) at 7:20 p.m., when the 18-year-old driver of a black 2017 Toyota failed to maintain her attention on the roadway and to control the speed of her vehicle.

Her vehicle collided with the rear of a silver 2011 Lexus, which pushed the front-right end of that vehicle into the back-left end of a white 2017 Nissan being driven by a 17-year-old girl.

The driver of the Lexus, a 20-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The other two drivers were not reported as injured.
