Driver injured in multi-vehicle crash on Harvey Mitchell Pkwy

COLLEGE STATION, TX – A woman was injured earlier this week in a multi-vehicle crash on Harvey Mitchell Parkway that was reportedly related to speeding, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened on Harvey Mitchell Pkwy S near Rio Grande Boulevard at around 6 p.m. Monday, after the 23-year-old driver of a white 2015 Toyota failed to control the speed of her vehicle.

She then collided with the back of a gray 2020 Honda being driven by a 27-year-old woman, which pushed the vehicle into the rear of a silver 2008 Mercedes-Benz, operated by a 59-year-old man.

The at-fault driver sustained what are believed to be minor injuries in the crash.

The other two drivers and their passengers, which included a 3-year-old girl in the Honda and an 11-year-old girl in the Mercedes-Benz, were not reported as injured.
