2 men injured in multi-vehicle crash on Staples St in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Staples Street in Corpus Christi this weekend, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at 2109 S Staples Street, near 18th Street and Baldwin Boulevard at 1:14 a.m. Saturday, when the 58-year-old driver of a gray 2006 Pontiac and the 23-year-old driver of a white 2008 Pontiac both failed to control the speeds of their vehicles.

The gray Pontiac then crashed into the white Pontiac as well as a third vehicle.

The drivers of the Pontiacs suffered potential injuries in the accident.

No information was available on the driver of the third car.
