Children and bus driver hospitalized after school bus crash on Hwy 44

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – At least two children and a bus driver were hospitalized following a school bus crash on Highway 44 this evening, according to KIII TV.

The crash happened near the intersection of Hwy 44 and McKenzie Road (FM 3386) at around 6 p.m., when a Tuloso-Midway ISD and at least one other vehicle. At least one of the involved vehicles overturned during the collision.

The bus driver and the children riding on the bus were taken to the hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
