Man injured, dog dead after hit-and-run crash in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A hit-and-run crash in Corpus Christi earlier this week left a man injured and a dog dead, according to information from KRIS TV.

The collision occurred near Baldwin Boulevard and Cloyde Street, near the Crosstown Expressway at around 7 p.m. Wednesday, after a driver collided with a man and his dog. The driver then fled the scene.

The dog was killed in the crash.

The man was taken to the hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Authorities are using security footage in their search for the suspect and their vehicle. Their investigation continues at this time.
