CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a driver on Staples Street yesterday evening, according to information from KRIS TV.
The crash happened near the intersection of S Staples St and Casa Linda Drive at around 6:30 p.m., as a 65-year-old man was walking across the street. He was then struck by a driver.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe, life-threatening injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
