Two people injured in two-vehicle crash on Carolyn Dr in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Two people were reportedly injured during a two-vehicle crash off of State Highway 286 in Corpus Christi last week, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred at 2197 Carolyn Drive, just west of SH-286 (Crosstown Expressway), at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday, after the 55-tear-old driver of a 2008 passenger vehicle collided with the rear of a silver 2010 Toyota being driven by a 49-year-old woman.

Two passengers in the back of the Toyota, a 75-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, sustained potential injuries in the accident.

Both drivers and a third passenger in the Toyota, a 77-year-old man, were not reported as hurt.

The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
