Woman injured in single-vehicle crash on Lexington Blvd related to speed

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A woman was injured in a speed-related crash on Lexington Boulevard in Corpus Christi on Tuesday morning, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at 1593 N Lexington Boulevard, west of State Highway 358 and south of State Highway 407, at 10:19 a.m., when the 43-year-old driver of a white 2017 Toyota failed to control the speed of her vehicle. She then crashed, sustaining damage to the front end of the vehicle.

The driver suffered potential injuries in the accident.

No other victims or vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash.
