FRISCO, TX – One person was killed, and another was injured after a driver reportedly fleeing a police pursuit crashed into another vehicle in Frisco last week, according to CBS DFW.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Warren Parkway and Dallas Parkway at about 4:55 a.m.

Authorities attempted to pull over the driver of a silver 2019 Chevrolet Corvette, as they believed he may have been involved with a possible robbery at a nearby apartment complex.

The driver, Plano man Anthony Provost, 36, reportedly fled the attempted traffic stop at a high rate of speed. He is then said to have run a red light, where he crashed into a white pickup truck.

Provost died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
