1 dead, 2 injured in crash involving 12 cars, 18-wheeler in Dallas

ROWLETT, TX – A man is dead and two people are injured after a crash on Interstate 30 between Horizon Road and Dalrock Road on Monday.

According to NBCDFW, the crash involved an 18-wheeler and 12 other vehicles. One man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Two other people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. That section of westbound I-30 stayed closed until 11 p.m.

Police are still investigating.
