1 dead, 3 injured in multi-vehicle wrong-way crash on SH-121 in Frisco

FRISCO, TX – One person was killed, and another three were injured following a wrong-way, multi-vehicle collision in Frisco late Thursday night, according to CBS DFW.

The crash happened in the 9900 block of State Highway 121, near Ohio Drive, at about 11 p.m., as 21-year-old Bethel Gebrekidan was reportedly driving northbound in the southbound lanes.

Gebrekidan collided with another vehicle head-on, which was then struck from behind by a third driver.

Gebrekidan was taken to the hospital, then later pronounced dead.

Two people in the vehicle that was struck head-on were taken to the hospital with injuries that are thought to be non-life-threatening.

The third driver received treatment for their injuries at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
